A port day in Albany offers a chance to explore a quieter corner of Western Australia. Choose from a variety of ship excursions including a visit to Discovery Bay, a former whaling station and now a fascinating museum overlooking the sea, or Torndirrup National Park.
Today enjoy time on your own or a shore excursion in port at Margaret River, which boasts over 120 premium wineries, ancient caves and a picture-perfect landscape of meandering country roads and spectacular scenery. Just steps from Busselton Jetty are glistening white sand beaches and sun-drenched seaside villages.
After breakfast, farewell The Grand Princess and disembark to enjoy a Fremantle and Perth city sights tour before transferring to the hotel, where you can check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Today journey into the picturesque Swan Valley, Western Australia’s oldest wine region. Along the way sample coffee at Yahava KoffeeWorks, and a sweet treat at the Margaret River Chocolate Company before a wine tasting and lunch at Sandalford Estate. Visit The House of Honey before returning to your hotel for the night.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring to the rail terminal to board the Indian Pacific train – your home for the next five days and four nights. Prepare for a journey of contrasts: from ghost towns to a city of four million, from the barren expanse of the Nullarbor to majestic mountains, and from vast goldmines to lush vineyards.
Time to stretch your legs in this historic mining town. Kalgoorlie is known for its rich gold deposits and famous for the Super Pit. Late evening, a nightcap and stargazing in the old railway town of Cook - now virtually a ghost town.

Arrive in the ‘Silver City’ of Broken Hill this morning. Discover the mining history and artistic culture of this unique town and heritage-listed city.
Before arriving in Sydney, stop in the impressive Blue Mountains to appreciate the captivating views and sandstone ridges. Enjoy the Scenic Skyway, Cableway or a guided tour to make the most of the dramatic scenery with eucalyptus forests and deep valleys. A ‘Farewell Dinner’ tonight.
