Voyage to the Marquesas Islands

aboard Aranui 5

Mythical and mystical. A land that has attracted explorers, writers, painters and artists. Breath-taking landscapes of mountains, valleys, plateaus and cliffs. A nation of former warriors, with their own language and culture. For 40 years, Aranui, as the main carrier of goods to the Marquesas, has maintained a vital link with its inhabitants and the outside world.  Our groups continue to return with glowing reports on both the ship, destination and the whole experience.

The ship Aranui 5, is the only way to explore the Marquesas Islands - operating between Tahiti, the Tuamotus and the Marquesas.  The ship is in the style of a traditional cargo ship – a modern custom-built mixed passenger / cargo vessel, but with all the latest amenities.  Previous groups described it more like a cruise, with the additional experience of calling at tiny ports.

Why not join us on this amazing experience!?
