Arrive Dubai early morning and transfer to your city centre hotel.
Early departure for the airport for your flight to Rome, arriving early afternoon. After clearing immigration, travel by coach through the countryside to the Tuscan capital of Florence.
After breakfast enjoy a full day walking tour of the city. Highlights include Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce Basilica.
Travel from Florence for a special visit to Mt La Verna Sanctuary before continuing to Cortona with time to visit the monastery built by Francis of Assisi and the Church of St Margaret.
The highlight of Cortona include La Celle, the Church of Santa Margherita, Lago Trasimeno and the Church of San Francesco. Continue to Gubbio for a walking tour which includes the Church of San Francesco, La Vittorina and the Abbey of Vallingegno.
Travel to the city of Perugia (where St Francis was imprisoned) for a walking tour of the historic centre, the Oratory of San Bernardino and the Cathedral of St Lawrence.
Visit the San Francesco Church in Gubbio before arriving in Assisi.
The hilltop town of Assisi was the birthplace of St Francis, one of Italy’s patron saints in 1181. The half-day guided walking tour includes a special visit to the magnificent two-level Basilica of St Francis with its 13th Century frescoes.
This popular pilgrim destination was partially destroyed by the severe earthquake of 1997.
We begin our day with a guided tour of Foligno including the Monastery of Sant’ Annathe, Church of San Francesco and Piazza della Repubblica. Continue to the city of Spoleto where highlights are Monteluco and the Cathedral of Spoleto.
Half day guided tour of the Umbrian hilltop town of Todi where highlights include the Church of San Fortunato, Palazzo del Capitano and SS.Annunziata Cathedral. Return to Assisi.
Begin with a guided tour to see Nani Lo Speco di San Francesco, one of the most important sanctuaries of the Franciscans, the Cathedral and on to Viterbo for the Family House of St Rose
Visit the city of Viterbo before visiting the Sanctuary in Greccio where San Francesco made the first commemoration in 1223. Continue on to Rome for a three-night stay.
Full day guided tour including a special visit to the ‘Scavi’ – the crypts under the Vatican where a very limited number of visitors are permitted a day. Other options the Sistine Chapel and various Vatican Museums.
The full-day guided tour of the city includes the Basilicas of Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni, the Cathedral of Rome and the Holy Staircase.
Morning free before transferring to the airport for flight to Dubai.

Patricia Parsons began leading faith-based pilgrimages to European holy sites and shrines in 2002.
After experiencing pilgrimage several times herself, Patricia was inspired to create New Zealand-led pilgrimages for others wanting to experience a completely different alternative to normal tourist trails.
She escorted the 2018 pilgrimage through Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and Galilee and Jordan.
As you travel, you develop an understanding of biblical history through the millenniums and how it is all interwoven to the present day.
A good standard of health is required, with the ability to walk on uneven surfaces and stand for long periods is necessary
