Fiji Cruise

Escape to Paradise

The newly launched MV. Yasawa Princess II will be your home away from home throughout your Fiji cruise. You’ll wake up in a different stunning location each morning, and with 75 years’ experience cruising the islands of Fiji, the crew know all the best places to take you! Who better to show you these idyllic islands than the Fijians themselves?

A high crew member-to-guest ratio ensures you’ll be well looked after. Measuring 150 feet (45.8 metres), the MV. Yasawa Princess II can access bays and islands that would be impossible to reach in a larger ship – getting close enough to shore to tie off to a coconut tree so you can swim to the beach.  With a maximum of 44 passengers and up to 22 all-Fijian crew, you’ll be well looked after with true Fijian hospitality. Due to the small number of guests, no matter which beach or island you visit, you won’t be overwhelmed by crowds and most of the time, the group will be the only people on the beach! Just unpack once and then let your floating hotel take you from idyllic place to idyllic experience – every day somewhere and something different. Visit traditional Fijian villages, swim in crystal-clear lagoons and gaze out on tropical vistas you thought only existed in movies.

If conditions are rough due to winds and swells, the itinerary will be altered to cruise on the sheltered side of the islands.

General Information

Flexible Cruising - This cruise is based on the itinerary detailed in this brochure but to ensure you have the best possible cruise experience, we use ‘flexible cruising’. What this means is that we’re prepared to alter the itinerary, either when necessary, or when some exciting opportunity arises. For example, if there is some special event taking place in a local Yasawa Village, which you really should see, then we will alter our cruise route to take you there. Cruising through a region of coral lagoons and isolated island makes anchorages weather dependent and so, at times, the itinerary may need to be altered. However, we’ll always endeavor to ensure all of the highlights of each cruise are enjoyed by our guests.

Dress standard - The dress code is casual and informal, even at dinner. We encourage our guests to wear what they feel comfortable in and to leave their dinner jackets and high heels at home. For those wanting to visit villages for cultural reasons, we do ask that men wear a sulu (provided in your cabin) and women dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered.

Health and Mobility

This tour requires a good level of health and fitness to be able to move between decks. Clients must be independently mobile with the ability to walk on uneven surfaces and steps. We expect you will arrive on tour fit, healthy and ready to travel.
