Today hear the complete story of the WWII bombing of Darwin. Visit Darwin’s most famous historical sites that were hit by the Japanese air raids. Head out to Charles Darwin National Park to see bunkers and other WWII relics before visiting the acclaimed Defence of Darwin museum as well as the East Point Military precinct.
Enjoy a one hour Australia’s Frontline cruise on Darwin Harbour which covers the historic Stokes Hill and Fort Hill wharf areas and Cullen Bay.

Darwin – Kakadu

After breakfast depart Darwin and travel along the Arnhem Highway, passing major river systems and wetland regions into Kakadu National Park. The national park covers 20,000 square kilometres of landscape, varying from rocky escarpment and home to historic Aboriginal rock art dating back thousands of years, to the floodplains abundant with wildlife.
Visit Warradjan Cultural Centre to view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu. Join your local guide on a cruise of Yellow Water Billabong Cruise. Search for saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of birdlife for which this region is renowned.

Kakadu – Darwin

This morning explore the World Heritage Area of Ubirr, where you’ll climb up through the ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries (believed to be 20,000 years old), to the lookout for the view over the surrounding wetlands.
Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River. An Aboriginal guide will provide an insight into their culture, including local mythology, the river’s abundant food chain, as well as bush survival skills. With special permission from the local people, you are able to go ashore in Arnhem Land.
Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre before returning to Darwin early evening.

An early morning start for the drive to Litchfield National Park. The gorgeous, historical town of Batchelor is the gateway to Litchfield National Park. View the termite mounds found at Litchfield National Park and the spectacular double waterfall of Florence Falls from a high vantage point. One of the three major waterfalls along the western face of the Tabletop Range is Tolmer Falls. Marvel at the water cascading down into the deep waterhole at the base of the falls. Return to Darwin this evening.
