Morning flight with Air New Zealand to Napier in the Hawkes Bay. Visit Bluff Hill for a spectacular view over the earthquake area. Drive to Puketapu with a stop at Tutaekuri River for a walk along this picturesque river track. Settle into your boutique accommodation for 5 nights at Mangapapa. Welcome dinner this evening

Today we explore Napier CBD, Art Deco and learn the history of how the 1931 earthquake affected Napier and its rebuild. There will be some time for shopping. Travel through rural countryside to the farming community of Pukititiri and enjoy an authentic lunch at Rob and Helen Pattullos home, garden and farm.

We visit the Farmers market this morning and purchase supplies for our picnic lunch at Ocean Beach (weather permitting) or lunch at Birdwoods Gallery.
On our return journey we stop at Arataki honey for an opportunity to purchase directly from the producer finishing the day with wine tasting of award winning
wines at Smith and Sheth.
