Arrive Rarotonga mid-afternoon. Transfer to your accommodation at Sunset Resort. With time to relax before a welcome dinner in the Anchorage Restaurant.

Friday 14 August

This morning’s circle island tour covers the history, infrastructure and highlights of the island. This evening dinner is at a local restaurant.

Saturday 15 August

Head off this morning to the Punanga Nui Market. Enjoy the music, fresh and cooked food at the many stalls, and authentic arts and crafts. There is time to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the organic coffee, snacks, fresh fruit smoothies. Afternoon free. This evening we enjoy Te Vara Nui’s Island show and feast -absolutely spectacular!

Sunday 16 August

After a relaxed breakfast transfer to the glass bottom boat lagoon cruise. Enjoy snorkelling, ukelele playing, pareu tying, drumming as well as a delicious island BBQ. Plus, coconut husking, tree climbing and more. This evening a transfer is arranged to the famous outdoor Muri Night Food Markets where you have a multitude of dinner plate choices (own expense.)

Today includes a unique tour with local farmers featuring traditional foods and growing methods including a light lunch. Rest of the day and evening at your leisure.

Morning free to relax, followed by a visit to the lush botanical Maire Nui Gardens. This evening our progressive dinner is an opportunity to visit three private homes which includes local entertainment with lots of laughs and fun.

The day starts with a heartwarming visit to a local school, followed by an opportunity to create your own Pareu at a printing work shop.  Afternoon free. This evening, we have a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

A mid-morning transfer to the Sailing Club for a ‘fish n chips’ lunch, then to the airport for your return flight to Auckland on Air New Zealand (Cross the International Date Line).
