Niue

Polynesia as it was

Niue, the world’s largest uplifted coral atoll and the world’s smallest independent nation, is an uncrowded, untouristy slice of Polynesia as it used to be. Niue offers a relaxed, nature-based holiday. It is an unexpected land with genuinely friendly people. A rugged shoreline circles a heavily forested central region and the island is surrounded by an ocean that is quite spectacular with crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life. Whether you’re diving, snorkelling, fishing or simply gazing at the ocean while enjoying a cool drink, the water clarity will amaze you. With a population of less than 1,500 people, you will know half of the island before you leave. Why not join us to this little-visited island?

What our previous tour clients say...

“The whole tour was a delight – most enjoyable!” – Ian & Fiona

Niue, the beautiful Pacific Island, is known for its stunning crystal-clear waters, making it an incredible spot for whale watching. From July to October, humpback whales migrate through these waters, offering a breath-taking spectacle. Massive humpback whales gracefully glide through the deep blue sea, occasionally breaching or slapping their tails against the water’s surface. It’s a mesmerizing sight and the opportunity to swim with the whales (from a safe distance) leaves a lasting impression on anyone lucky enough to witness it first-hand. A good level of fitness and the ability to swim comfortably in the ocean is required.
