“Polynesia as it was”

Niue, the world’s largest uplifted coral atoll and the world’s smallest independent nation, is an uncrowded, untouristy slice of Polynesia. Niue offers a relaxed, nature-based holiday. It is an unexpected land with genuinely friendly people. A rugged shoreline circles a heavily forested central region and the island is surrounded by an ocean that is quite spectacular with crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life. Whether you’re snorkelling, fishing or simply gazing at the ocean while enjoying a cool drink, the water clarity will amaze you. With a population of less than 1500 people, you will know half of the island before you leave. Why not join us to this little-visited island?

From July to October, humpback whales migrate through these waters, offering a breath-taking spectacle. Massive humpback whales gracefully glide through the deep blue sea, occasionally breaching or slapping their tails against the water’s surface. It’s a mesmerizing sight and swimming with the whales leaves a lasting impression on anyone lucky enough to witness it first-hand. A good level of fitness and the ability to swim comfortably in the ocean is required.
