Megan Paton

I always thought I would end up working in the travel industry. After completing a Business degree, I began my career in ecotourism development before moving into IT. Later, while raising our two daughters, I retrained as a primary school teacher. While I've loved teaching, I'm excited to finally follow my passion and join the team at Pukekohe Travel.

My husband and I spent time living in the UK on our overseas experience, where we discovered a love of travel and explored Europe in winter. Some of my favourite travel memories include enjoying the amazing food of Vietnam, cycling through Sri Lanka, exploring Cuba and most recently relaxing in Thailand. As a family, we've also loved holidaying throughout the Pacific Islands. Canada is at the very top of my travel bucket list and I can't wait to explore its spectacular scenery one day.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, reading, spending time with family and friends and making the most of the peace and quiet of our lifestyle block.
