Lisa Wharfe

With close to 30 years in the travel industry and 15 years at Pukekohe Travel, Lisa adds vast experience to the team.  Lisa is also our Office Manager and is really proud of the fabulous team she works alongside.  

Keeping up with techhnology and electronic communication, it is important to keep personal connections and I really enjoy building positive long lasting relationships with our clients.  We are selling them their dream holiday, whether it be a trip over the ditch to Australia or sailing somewhere in the world on a cruise ship!!

One of my passions is cruising, it started with the first P & O Cruise in 2011 and then in 2015 I completed the ‘CLIA Masters Cruise training’ onboard Quantum of the Seas out of China….. from then I was hooked!  I like keeping myself up to date with the changing world of cruising by attending cruise conferences, and of course getting onboard a cruise ship when I can!  

I have been on a vast number of cruises but the most recent cruising highlights including sailing out of Japan with Princess Cruises and in 2025 taking my family away cruising along the Queensland Coast of Australia.  The icing on the cake and my most recent cruise was sailing along the Danube River on Avalon Waterways. 

I was elated to win the ‘Top Cruise Consultant for 2024 and 2025’  for the First Travel Group.  Another proud moment was being a finalist for CLIA NZ Cruise Consultant of the Year in 2024.

I live locally in Pukekohe – I love my 5 minute commute, I am married to Justin and we have two young adult children.  Outside of work I enjoy a few weekly bootcamp sessions and in summer the weekends are spent in Matarangi on the Coromandel Peninsula to relax and unwind.
