Adelaide and Uluru

Wednesday 03 June

Depart on Air New Zealand and arrive in Adelaide late morning. Enjoy an Adelaide city sights tour and free time at the famous Adelaide Central Markets before transferring to your hotel for a two-night stay. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner tonight.

Thursday 04 June

After breakfast, enjoy a half day tour of the Adelaide Hills. Travel to Mount Lofty Summit for sweeping views over the city and coastline. Journey through the charming villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater, then arrive in historic Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement. Afternoon and evening at leisure. 

Friday 05 June

After breakfast transfer to the airport for our private exclusive scenic charter flight to Uluru. Enjoy a welcome drink and canapes on arrival to begin your Red Centre experience. Tonight, be captivated by the Field of Light open-air exhibition by artist Bruce Munro. 

Field of Light - As evening falls, prepare to be captivated by the Field of Light, an extraordinary open-air exhibition by artist Bruce Munro. As the desert darkens, thousands of tiny glass spheres softly illuminate the landscape, creating a shimmering field of colour that stretches toward the base of Uluru. Wander along the glowing pathways and take in the tranquil atmosphere as the desert transforms into a radiant dreamscape beneath the stars.

Saturday 06 June

Rise early this morning to experience a sunrise viewing of Uluru on a guided vehicle tour around the base of the monolith. Discover its ancient rock formations and hear the stories that make this place so spiritually and culturally significant. Continue with a peaceful walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, rich in Aboriginal culture and natural beauty. Continue on to Kata Tjuṯa and take in the sweeping views from the dune viewing area before exploring the majestic Walpa Gorge, where towering domes and desert flora showcase the raw beauty of the Red Centre before returning to your hotel.  This evening, dine under the sparkling Outback sky at the Sounds of Silence dinner experience. Watch the sun set over Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, enjoy a didgeridoo performance and learn about the stars over a three-course bush-tucker inspired dinner.

Sunday 07 June

Today visit the Cultural Centre to learn more about Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. After lunch farewell the Red Centre and return to Adelaide via charter flight. Today’s flight includes low level flying over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. 

Monday 08 June

Spend your day enjoying an insider’s look at one of Australia’s most iconic sporting venues with a guided tour of Adelaide Oval. Step behind the scenes and uncover the secrets of this world-renowned stadium, where history, sport, and entertainment come together in one remarkable setting. The remainder of the day is free to explore.

Tuesday 09 June

After breakfast travel to the world-famous Barossa Valley and enjoy lunch at Seppeltsfield Winery. Indulge your sweet tooth at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company and a visit to the Maggie Beer Farm before returning to hotel. 

Wednesday 10 June

Transfer to the airport after breakfast for your late-morning departure home.
