Japan in Autumn

This tour of Japan is the perfect time to see the spectacular autumn colours and late November is the last chance you have to see the beautiful fall leaves. The myriad of colour will astound. While visiting Tokyo is a huge must, the best place to see the autumn colours is in the Kansai region – especially Kyoto, Nara, Arashiyama and Mt Fuji and we visit them all.  Japan is a mixture of modern and traditional, conventional but progressive, bustle and serenity, colour and culture.

Visit iconic Mt Fuji – Japan’s distinct landmark, ride bullet trains, sample seafood, sushi and sake – the famous rice wine, wander castles and historic sites from the 1500s.

This tour is already attracting interest so enquire now to avoid disappointment.

 Luggage

Visiting Japan in autumn does require a bit more planning when it comes to packing. The key to packing for autumn in Japan is layers – lots and lots of layers. Since it’s probably going to be chilly in the morning and evenings, pack clothes that will keep you warm but also ones that won’t take up too much space in your luggage. It is essential you can manage your own suitcase. A bag with wheels is an advantage when travelling through airports.
