Mark Ball

Being a people person, Mark enjoys escorting tours and has taken groups on many of our New Zealand rail tours including weekends to the Chateau, South Island and Whangarei, plus our two week Tour of Tasmania.  

Mark policed in the South Auckland area for 18 years and later set up a business which he sold on being elected Mayor of Franklin District. He served for two terms before advent of the 'Super City' and is now involved in the local growing industry.

Mark still takes a major interest in the Franklin area and has a passionate interest in vintage cars.
His pride and joy is a four door red and white 1956 Chev Belair while the others are a dark green Austin 7 and a blue 1952 Desoto.
