Depart late morning from Auckland on Air New Zealand. On arrival we transfer to your central city hotel. Adjacent to the hotel there are a number of cafes for lunch. This afternoon there will a walking tour of the reconstructed city then check into the hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner tonight.
Depart by coach for a day on Banks Peninsula. The drive has spectacular views overlooking bays and beaches before arriving in Akaroa. Time to enjoy the history, shops, harbour and the French character. Lunch at own expense before returning to Christchurch.
This morning board your exclusive charter train and follow the Coastal Pacific route along the coastline through North Canterbury and Kaikoura to Picton. After arriving at your hotel for a two night stop your afternoon is free to explore the town.
Today we take a boat cruise with commentary in the Marlborough Sounds with a stop at Furneaux Lodge for lunch before returning to Picton.
A mid-morning departure by ferry through Torrey Channel then across Cook Straight. On arrival a transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Dinner included.
We set off this morning for Zealandia where you will be astounded by the bird song the moment you arrive. To enhance the visit we have arranged a guided tour which will be followed by an included lunch. This afternoon we have a guided tour of Weta Workshop. A Farewell Dinner this evening.

This morning board the popular ‘Northern Explorer’ train for the daylight train journey along the coastline and then inland to
Palmerston North and onto the Central Plateau mountains via Waiouru and Ohakune, to Mt’s Ruapehu, Ngaruahoe and Tongariro. Among the highlights will be a circular descent down the Raurimu spiral, onto Taumarunui in the heart of the King Country, before reaching your destination.
