Silverseas Silver Spirit Italian owned but English speaking carries 540 passengers is 36,000 tonnes and 198.5 metres long.
Aside from 10 cabins, all other cabins have balconies. The Suites (not Cabins) are beautifully appointed with a fridge that is replenished daily (included in cruise fare) nice seating area and good size balcony. The entertainment areas are very comfortable and stylish, with 2 pool areas, spa and fitness center.
The Silverseas ships are fully inclusive of all meals, drinks both alcoholic and coffees etc. The two speciality restaurants have an additional cover charge.
USD on board. It is worth the comparison as an all inclusive package. Dress Code is smart casual/formal
Queen Elizabeth launched in October 2010 GBP365 million to built and the 3 classical Cunard ship on the water. Cunards 3 ships Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth are the youngest fleet currently on the water despite the company being over 170 years old. The Queen who christened this latest edition was also at the launch of the original QE I when she was 12 years old and again at the launch of QEII in 1967. The new Queen Elizabeth carries 2092 passengers, 90,400 Gross Tonnage 294 meters long. Her entertainment areas are all very tasteful and as are the cabins. Lunch of course was divine. Like all Cunard ships this one is very smart but not ostentatious.
