Marlborough Sounds and the High Country

From 27/02/2011 to 7/03/2011. (Places Available)

A holiday with a distinct New Zealand flavour through two contrasting, but beautiful scapes.
Marlborough, described as one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets, has captured the hearts of our eight previous tour groups.
‘Affinity’, a spacious 16 berth vessel with three deck-levels, air conditioning and friendly crew – a relaxing on-the-water perspective of the Sounds is assured.
The magnificent scenery is diverse – on the one hand the landscape sweeps up from wild rugged coastline to austere snow-capped mountains. In the other direction, the landscape meanders gently from the fertile Waimea Plains with its world-renowned vineyards to the serene Marlborough Sounds.
Listening to the experience of the locals, receiving informative commentaries on flora and fauna, driving the legendary Molesworth Station, appreciating the high country scenery or simply relaxing, cruising the sounds – this tour is always special.

Features

Two contrasting landscapes

On one hand cruising the tranquil Marborough Sounds -  the other driving through the Awatere Valley,  the iconic Molesworth Station and from Hanmer through countless vineyards to Blenheim.
