Thursday 28 Auckland – Vancouver (D)
Evening departure from Auckland on Air New Zealand. Cross the International Date Line to arrive in Vancouver mid-afternoon. Dinner tonight at centrally located hotel.

A morning city tour. Rest of the day free.
Saturday 30 (B)
Sightseeing tour to Vancouver Island including Butchart Gardens.
Sunday 31 Vancouver – Montreal (B)
Today a morning flight on Air Canada, which arrives in Montreal early evening.

Monday 01 Montreal (B)
Enjoy a taste of this large friendly city. Montreal is on the banks of the St Lawrence River, the city has preserved its character with graceful stone buildings, stately churches and cobbled streets.
Highlights include Notre Dame Basilica, historic Old Montreal, the Latin Quarter and Mount Royal. The afternoon is in the Maisonneuve Park and the Biodome.
Tuesday 02 Montreal – Quebec City ((B D)
A leisurely morning before a noon departure by train, arriving in Quebec City late afternoon. Quebec, with its historical, cultural and agricultural heritage, has a strong European flavour. Our local guide will meet the group and transfer us to our hotel in the Old City. Dinner will be at a local restaurant.
Wednesday 03 Quebec City (B)
The city sightseeing tour this morning is a combination of coach and walking. Highlights include the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, the Fortifications, the National Assembly, Place Royal and the Basilica. Then, a walking tour through the narrow cobbled streets of Old Quebec. Time to shop.
Thursday 04 Quebec City – Tadoussac (B D)
Today enjoy a full day sightseeing. Visit Montmorency Falls and lle d’Orleans. Travel onto Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Basilica (the St Peters of North America) and Cyclorama of Jerusalem. We continue along the St Lawrence Seaway to Tadoussac. .
Friday 05 Tadoussac – Saguenay (B D)
A morning of whale watching, where many species of whales migrate each summer to feed under ideal conditions. Next we travel the Saguenay Fjord, a gigantic glacial valley which stretches for 126 km, no roads go north from here into the wilderness.
Saturday 06 Saguenay – Quebec City - Charlottetown (P E I) (B)
Our coach journey returns us to Quebec for a flight to beautiful Prince Edward Island and the home of Anne of Green Gables and the ‘Birthplace of Canada.’
Sunday 07 Charlottetown (B)After breakfast our full-day tour includes Prince Edward Island National Park and Green Gables, the house that inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery’s novels. This evening a musical performance of Anne of Green Gables..
Monday 08 Charlottetown – Halifax (Nova Scotia) (B D)
Today travel from by ferry from Wood Island across Northumberland Strait to Caribou in Nova Scotia and onto the capital of Nova Scotia, Halifax.
Tuesday 09 Halifax ((B)
Halifax is Canada’s main ice-free Atlantic port. Our morning tour highlights include the Citadel National Park, Province House and the public gardens – photographer’s heaven. In the afternoon we travel to picturesque Peggy’s Cove, famous for its granite shoreline, weatherworn wharves, rustic buildings and Lighthouse Point.
Wednesday 10 Halifax -StJohn’s (Newfoundland) (B D)
This morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to St John’s in Newfoundland, ‘The Rock’ as Newfoundland is known. Some 200 years ago, the Irish migration to Newfoundland provided much of the backbone for this island province.
Thursday 11 St John’s (B)
We have a morning city tour by coach and on foot. See the Basilica, parks and quaint, brightly-painted shops and houses. Afternoon free.
Friday 12 Sightseeing in Brigus (B)
Brigus, once a thriving fishing village based on the cod industry, now has a population of a few hundred. The village still retains its charm of a bygone era and each year holds a “Blueberry Festival” our hosts and guide will be Tom and Donna Burke (true Newfies from the village), they maintain a home here to escape the trials of a law office in St John’s, Tom will delight you with tales both past and present of life in Newfoundland,
Saturday 13 Sightseeing (B)
After breakfast the coach will head to Witless Bay to board a boat to hopefully see puffins, whales and maybe even an iceberg!
Sunday 14 St John’s – Toronto (B)
Time this morning to pack before leaving for the airport and an early afternoon flight to arrive in Toronto late afternoon for a two-night stay.
Monday 15 Toronto – Niagara Falls (BD)
Today enjoy a full day tour that includes the city highlights, including Eaton Centre, Old and New City Hall, view of Casa Loma, Yorkville and the University of Toronto and then onto Niagara Falls – one of the world’s great attractions
Tuesday 16 Toronto – Vancouver – Auckland (B)
A leisurely morning before a flight to Vancouver. Change planes in Vancouver for the Air New Zealand flight to Auckland
